General Scope
These terms apply to all products and services provided by Advertsignment Ltd, including printing, signage, and related design or installation work. By placing an order, you accept these terms as the basis of our contract.
Quotations and Orders
All quotes are based on current costs and are valid for 15 days unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust prices if our costs change due to factors such as material price increases, new regulations, or changes in project scope. Orders are only accepted once confirmed in writing by Advertsignment Ltd.
Payment Terms
For account holders, payment is due within 30 days of invoice. Non-account customers must pay in full for print work and a 50% deposit for signage or printing projects, with the balance due before delivery or installation. Discounts are only valid if payment is made on time.
Late Payments
If payment is overdue by more than 14 days, we may suspend work or delivery and charge interest at 5% above the Barclays Bank base rate. You are responsible for any legal or collection costs incurred in recovering overdue payments.
Ownership and Risk
Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery or installation, but ownership remains with Advertsignment Ltd until full payment is received. Until then, you must keep our goods separate and clearly marked. We reserve the right to retrieve our goods if payment is not made.
Product and Service Information
We reserve the right to update or change product and service details at any time. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee all descriptions are error-free. For signage, we may make minor adjustments to design or materials to ensure safety, compliance, or suitability for installation.
Design, Artwork, and Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, and related materials created by Advertsignment Ltd remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are responsible for ensuring any artwork or content you supply is accurate and does not infringe on third-party rights. We print using CMYK unless otherwise requested, which may incur extra charges. For signage, we may adjust artwork to suit production or installation requirements, and will seek your approval for significant changes.
Proofs and Approvals
Proofs are available on request and must be approved in writing before production. Once approved, Advertsignment Ltd is not responsible for any errors or omissions. Any changes after approval may incur additional charges and could delay delivery.
Site Access and Installation (Signage)
For sign installation, you must provide safe and clear access to the site at the agreed time. Any delays or additional work caused by site conditions, restricted access, or unforeseen obstacles may result in extra charges. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, permits, or landlord approvals before installation. We are not liable for delays caused by issues outside our control, such as weather, site access, or third-party contractors.
Health and Safety
We will comply with all relevant health and safety regulations during installation. You must inform us of any site-specific risks or requirements in advance.
Delivery and Completion
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by factors such as material availability, weather, or site access. We are not liable for losses caused by delivery or installation delays. Delivery charges apply at current rates. For print orders, please ensure payment is complete before delivery.
Order Quantities and Variations
We consider an order fulfilled if the delivered quantity is within 5% (more or less) of what was ordered, and you will be billed for the actual quantity supplied. Any changes to order quantity or specification must be made in writing before production begins. Increases in quantity or changes in specification may be treated as a new order.
Claims and Returns
Inspect all goods and installations upon delivery or completion. Notify us in writing within three days of any damage, defects, or shortages. For signage, any issues with installation must be reported immediately. We may require goods to be returned before agreeing to a reprint, repair, or refund. Claims made after these periods may not be accepted.
Installation and Third-Party Contractors
Advertsignment Ltd may use our own installation team or, when necessary, engage professional third-party contractors to complete your installation. Regardless of who installs your signage, it is your responsibility to inspect the completed work and ensure you are satisfied with the installation before the installers leave the site. While we and our contractors strive to deliver a high standard of workmanship, any requests for changes or amendments made after the installation team has left will be treated as a new job and may incur additional charges. To avoid extra costs, please discuss any concerns or required adjustments with the installers during the installation process.
Warranties and Maintenance (Signage)
We provide a 3-month warranty on sign manufacturing and installation, covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, vandalism, weather, or unauthorised repairs. Routine maintenance is your responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied, except where the law states otherwise. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost earnings, business interruption, or additional expenses.
Refunds and Cancellations
If there is a problem with your order, we may offer to reprint, repair, or replace the goods. Refunds or credits are at our discretion and will be processed within 14 working days once agreed. If you have work redone elsewhere without consulting us, you waive your right to a remedy from us. Any cancellation may incur charges for work already completed.
Samples
Samples must be returned in good condition within 7 days or you may be charged.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, supply chain disruptions, or government action.
Legal Jurisdiction
All contracts with Advertsignment Ltd are governed by English law.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your goods or completion of installation. We will review your complaint and may offer a reprint, repair, or replacement if appropriate. Complaints received after 48 hours may not be considered.
